Debra Hay - Joint Pain

I've been a member of Bikram Yoga on the drive since Spring 2004. I'm lucky! Bikram works for me. Through Bikram yoga, I've virtually corrected the painful damage that I'd done to me knee through running, aerobics, hydraulic resistance exercise and plain foolishness in my youth.

Besides that, the location of the studio is convenient, there are lots of class times to chose from, and the renovations to the studio make a sweaty yoga class seem like a spa oasis; 105 degrees, snow-capped mountain views and the best drinking water in the world. The studio is peaceful and a joy to come to, even on days when I'm overworked and exhausted. It's a delight to see many of the same faces at the studio, year after year. I practice a discipline along side friends, fellow parents, teachers and inspiring students.

For me, having consistency in the instruction means that the practice becomes a meditation; mastering inner tranquility, strength, endurance and flexibility over years of practice. I'm truly grateful that I can reap the benefits of this community practice.
